it worked just fine before I sent it in to be repaired!!

The issue is not with the phone or any other thing. You might require to re touch the upload notification. I get the same issue for my new phone! its a bug in Facebook app I guess. I have to first upload the image, go back to home, retouch the notification and then! It gets uploaded

Wait it was at the repair shop the repairer used it to take kiddie porn and upload them. Now facebook has blocked you from uploading photos and the police are tracking you. They think it was you!
