What is an example of an social media element in Journalism?
I don't quite understand it, and I have to answer these questions and find an article in the news with social media elements. I'm not asking for you to do my work, I just want it properly explained and defined. Thank you.

A paragraph exploring what the social media element adds to the reader's experience
A paragraph suggesting another type of social media platform to use to enhance the same news story

I think a perfect opportunity of a news article and social media blend would be the death of Steve Jobs. There were so many elements of his death on Social Media. For example....I myself found out he had passed on Twitter. Also, there were scammers using Facebook to exploit his death saying that apple was giving out free ipads in his remembrance.
