So..there is a guy, and we chat on Facebook, we don't know each other, but he lives in another country which is way far. So, the problem is he asked me do i believe in long distant relationships and i said no, and he likes me now, he doesn't even know me. The question is do i need to continue chatting with him? and if you were on my place, would you chat with him? Please, answer me it's important.

So if I didn't have any feelings for him I would still chat with him but let him know you aren't wanting to be in a relationship but more of a friendship (basically putting him in the friend zone). You can always just stop chatting with him if he does start to get annoying and ask you about the relationship thing.

No you don't need to continue chatting with anyone. It's that simple.
We have not signed a contract to be friends forever or even a day.

There is no need to continue chatting with him,I would stop all contact with him.
