Recently created a business acct with FB - then deleted it. When I tried to recreate a new personal FB page using the same email address, it told me I already had an account (even though I just deleted it). Its asking me to sign in and it will pull up my deactivated acct as it had formerly appeared. Thats not what I want to do! I want to start over with a personal page, not business. Whats the deal? Is this not possible? I find it hard to believe. Hope this is a silly question with an easy answer.

Maybe you should make a new email account instead?

Either create a new email and use it on the new account
OR
Make a new email and reactivate your old Facebook and set the email for that to the new one and then delete the email that you want from that account. Then create the new account.

You must have to sign up with some other email ID that is not been already used for Facebook previously.
