Every time I write something in Facebook chat it says "a few seconds ago"..? - Scarecr0W - 01-04-2014 11:00 AM

Every time I write something in Facebook Chat, "A few seconds ago" shows. And everytime I write something more (after I've sent something already) my profile pictures shows again, and the text "A few seconds ago".

Additional picture: http://oi41.tinypic.com/6fyr2p.jpg
That conversation lasted less than 1 minute.

Please help me, this is getting reaaally annoying..
I know that it means when I wrote it, but like, if I write "hey", and press enter, and then write "whats up?" like 2 seconds after, the "A few seconds ago" and my profil pictures comes up one more time.

So if I press enter 2 times without my friend writing anything, my profil picture and "a few seconds ago" comes up two times. It doesn't connect like it should.

Because that's when you wrote it

It does it on mine too. I believe its just saying you sent a message/ posted a post a few seconds ago. When time passes it'll then say 'A minute ago' 'Two minutes ago' and it keeps going until, like the next day. Than it'll just have the date when It was sent/posted.

It's meant to show that, have you tried refreshing the page or closing the chat and reopening it? Don't think there's much you can do x

Hi, I had this issue earlier, and I might've found a way to fix it. What I did is that I checked my date and time settings on the computer, and changed it to the correct time (I was in PM instead of AM), which fixed the issue for me. So double check the time on your computer, if it's correct, change it a little (by a few seconds or something) and hopefully it works!
