To unfriend someone:
Go to that person's timeline
Hover over the Friends box at the top of their timeline
Click Unfriend
Note: If you choose to unfriend someone, you will be removed from that person's friends list as well. If you want to be friends with this person again, you'll need to send a new friend request.

You can unfriend and block this person. Go to their page, go to "more" and go down to report/block. If its not there then there should be pretty visible. Not best advice but it works

just do unfriend

Just open his/her profile and then click "unfriend" he won't know it.
