It takes facebook 10 minutes to realize that I have closed the facebook window. If I deactivate the chat it keeps saying that I was online 1 minute ago. What can I do to appear offline when I am?

It depends on when you refresh the facebook page when you go off line, and when other people refresh theirs. Also try logging out altogether rather than just closing window.

All you Can Do is Either Go offline or Sign Off Thats About it Nothing Else you Can Do
