and other times it only loads two posts. It has been very unpredictable. Anyone else encountering similar problems? And what do you recommend? I reported this as a bug but haven't heard back.

Delete cookies and temporary files.
Check your connection speeds using http://www.speedtest.net - sometimes a bad connection causes partial page loads.
