is it weird to pose for a facebook profile picture ie..."SELFIE" ? - surferchick - 01-06-2014 07:55 AM
SO im 17 and have only ever had one profile pic of me as a baby for 4 years and want to change up my profile a bit but was wondering if at my age using a webcam to take a photo of myself smiling/posing is a bit weird and will get people thinking im weird for posing alone in my bedroom?

I think taking self pictures primarily for the use of Facebook is a bit lame. I take Self shots but they are for promotional purposes. I may take a picture of myself with something cool I bought because I'm a show off and I will perhaps make it my profile picture depending on how well my chin looks.
But doing hair, makeup, posing JUST for a picture of you for a Facebook picture I find a bit lame.

i would say its fine but show your body aswell make a good face and do your hair just make it an intresting photo of yourself
