Do the monthly challenges.
Tag your photos. like if you put a picture of your dog (I'll use my dog as an example) #dog #puppy #kilo #is #his #name #pomeranian #black #cute #adorable #mybaby #fluffy #furry #pet #animal
Use as many tags as possible. That way more people will see your photos and they will like and follow you.
Use only your best photos. The better the photo the more likes. Sunsets always get a lot of likes... funny photos do too. Also if you don't use a filter on your photos tag it as #nofilter. People seem to like it when you don't always use a filter. After I started tagging my photos I went from 80 followers to 111. I'm still getting more people all the time too.
Also... say you like the movie.... Paranormal Activity (Lol I watched that last night) and you follow someone who has a page on paranormal activity. Comment on the photos they post. Make funny, witty comments, compliment them and just be very friendly. Chances are someone else will see your comment, find it funny or sweet, then they will click on your name and follow you! Just get your name out there.
Don't photo bomb! Posting photo after photo really gets on people nerves. Post about three to five photos a day but spread them out throughout the day. Like on in the morning, afternoon, evening, night. Like that. And don't go crazy with posting photos of only yourself. Instagram is a photography app. People want to see photography
