I just made a tumblr account and began posting photos but when i search what i tagged them with, my photos don't show up in the results.
i even tagged them with my user name so as not to use a popular tag just in case they're getting lost in all the other posts but it's saying that no posts are found for that tag.
i've waited and searched again a few hours and then a day later but they still aren't showing up. any idea what's going on??

tumblr usually doesn't include your own posts if you search for a tag that's popular. And if you search your own URL as a tag, it won't show up any results.
It's just how tumblr works.
Keep in mind; however, that if other people search the tag, it will show up. I promise(:
