While looking up coworkers on facebook, I accidentally sent a friend request to my boss (who I have a crush on), and immediately canceled the request...but I was wondering if he will still be notified on Facebook, his phone, or receive an email...basically I want to know if there is any way he can still find out even though I cancelled the request 5 seconds after I sent it...I am so worried things may get awkward if he finds out about the friend request...thanks for your help...

you should just delete a close friend and then add her after you tell her whats going on and shell be able to tell you.

If s(he) has turned fb notifictions on, on her cell then its sure that s(he) is known about your friend request...
Or if she hasn't then if s(he) was online when u sent him/her friend request, then there're fair chances that s(he) is known to it (not in case if s(he) didn't open notification panel until u deleted ur request)...
