Why is Facebook cracking down on unsolicited friend requesting? - charlessmith702210@sbcglobal.net - 01-11-2014 12:46 PM

Facebook is also cracking down on private-messaging anyone that you do not know, so it is almost like LinkedIn.

The usual penalty for this would be a block from friend-requesting for 7 days. Further violations can result in your FB account being suspended or even revoked (or "banned").

This is happening in recent years by this famous social networking site.

if they didn't want people friend requesting random people then they wouldn't be completely random people that nobody knows in my "people you may know" section. I doubt what you say is actually happening.
