Hi,
There's a private group that I would like to join but I only get a sad face with an exclamation mark that reads "Oops! You need to be a member to perform this action."
But I can't become a member if there's no request link or an administrators forwarding email address so I can request admission.
Please help!!!

There's "Join group" under the group cover photo, click it.

It could mean that you have to invited into the group by the host, hope I helped
