I made a status the other night which I can still access through my notifications, only i've hidden it on my timeline but would now like it back. Is there any way I can do this (other than re-sharing)?

the activity log lets you do that

Yes, go to your activity log and change it there.

Go to your Activity Log Find The Post From that Page than Click on Allow On Timeline
That Should Put it Back on your Timeline
