everything that transpires on facebook is sent to my email, Idon't need facebook comments sent to my email account I have already read them on facebook page

Follow this steps.
in facebook Go to setting --> Click Notification (Which is in Left Side) --> Email --> Choose "Important notifications about you or activity you've missed" --> Ok
