Instagram just added videos to the app but I don't know how to do this? I went to the google play app and there wasn't any updates for instagram.

The app may already be updated. It is version 4.0 i think. Go to the photo button (the blue one at the bottom with the camera) when you open it there should be a video camera. Hold down when you click on it to record a 15 second video. Hope this helps!!

The same happened to me! I'm also on Android..I think we are gonna have to wait for the update. (I also asked a question like this if you want to read the answers to those)
(ok that earlier part was a few days ago)
My update is available now. Keep checking the Play store if you still didn't get it.
