How do I block someone from inviting me to like things on Facebook? - The Anomaly - 01-14-2014 02:03 PM

I have a friend who constantly invites me to like stuff and it always gets sent as a notification. I want to keep notifications from other people, but I'm getting irritated with this one person. I can't exactly take them off my list because of who it is. How can I stop receiving their invites? I have tried disabling notifications from them, but I still get the like invites. Any way to block these from him?

There is no option for that otherwise u can block this person for sending invitations

Click the settings icon in the upper right corner of the screen (near your name). Then click account settings. After that click blocking on the left of the screen. It should say block users, and under that it says block app invites.

Just type the name of whoever is sending you the invites and click block.

Sorry, I don't see your additional info, after your previous question is closed, I don't know the way to contact you. Thanks though.

Just go to Account Settings ➤ Manage Blocking ➤ Block Event Invites ➤ type that friend's name.

Keep your mouse pointer on the name when he/she post anything. Then you can see a box. Bottom of the box you can "Friend". keep mouse pointer on it and then you see a new box. From where you can choose "unfriend". It helps you remove his/her from your friend list.
