When I click Home on Facebook why does it prompt me to start a download? - Fernando - 01-15-2014 02:33 AM

I click on either the Home link or Icon on the Facebook website and it stars a download generically called "download". I refreshed the page, opened in a new tab, closed the web browser and reopened it and every time it prompts me to start a download.

I'm using Chrome, has anyone had this problem before?

Weird.... is that recently? What will be downloaded?
Try to uninstall Chrome then reinstall again?
Try Firefox?

You've got Malware.
Clear, cache, cookies, history, and run a Malware Bytes scan.
