Hi I'm in a somewhat awkward social dilemma.
anyways, I want to know if there is a way to stop your friends from getting a update on their news feed saying "______ is now friends with _____" type thing. Back when Facebook made sense it was an easy matter, now I don't have a clue about how to do this.

have you tried making your friends list private? that should do it
