There's this girl on my friends list she has an iPhone just like I do (I don't know if her messenger/Facebook apps are up to date) but she looks like she's offline when in reality she's always logged in. I'm tired of my Facebook showing I'm active even when not in use. I'd like to avoid people messaging me while still being able to message certain people and no, I don't want to appear idle to specific people I want to appear idle to every single person. HELP!!

Go on chat and there should be a button somewhere (depends where as to what device you're using) which looks like a settings icon click on that then click 'appear offline' then you should, as it says, appear offline. :)xx

Check And See if Facebook Messenger Has Settings if it Does Than Go to Settings than Hit Go Offline
