I remember years ago there were options to put your last name first, or just your name and middle name.
I've seen it on my TL where some people just have first names. So how can I make my name just my first name on Facebook.
I'm also not allowed to change my name anymore, as in can't type any other names.

i'm not allowed to change my name anymore either. so i'm not sure how you're supposed to change it to just your name.

Its not possible, First:Required Middle: Optional Last: Required
