For the past couple of days, every time I log onto facebook my computer just freezes up and stops working. It is only like this on facebook, no other websites. Any ideas why this might be?

Try clearing your cache and saved passwords.

Its not facebook. its your computer. it takes a lot to run facebook. and facebook can spam your computer sometimes, and if your computer is a pile of shit, then your screwed.

because anonymous finally had enough with this social network thing and hacked their network

Check your computer file if it's loaded and sometimes if someone is viewing your profile it could also affect and it freezes.
