26 of my facebook friends have timeline, but when i click "learn more" it doesnt have the "get timeline" button. how do i get it?

Timeline has not been launched yet for every Facebook user. However, you can get Timeline for your Facebook account by method described in the following article which also explains its basics:

Facebook layouts are here now. To an extent. If you activate Timeline, by visiting http://www.fblyts.com. Hope this helps.

if you dont see a timeline button, you might need to use a new version of your browser
for example, if you use IE6 or IE7, you will need to install IE8 to see it
