How do you unblock website at school? - Kitty - 02-18-2014 07:26 PM

My school block a lot of website and apps like Facebook, Instagram, twitter and youtube. How can I unblock them?

Why are you wasting your precious computer time at school with social networking when you should be studying?

Do you want fries with your proxy?

You can't, stupid. It's called: Wait until you're out of school. You aren't the system administrator so you can't unblock them.

You can't. They're blocked for a reason.

you cant unblock them - you will just have to use your cellphone like everyone else

schools consider those sites security risks

It really depends on what method they are using to block the sites.

A few things you can try are...

A) Proxy sites such as hidemyass.com -- these usually work 99% of the time, but it's hard to find one whose site isn't blocked.

B) Use HTTPS. Instead of typing in https://www.facebook.com (difference is "s" at the end of of the "http") this secures your connection.

C) Memorize the IP address (or setup a redirect to it) you can find the IP address of a site by pinging it (among other methods). In some cases, if the administrators have blocked the site via DNS, this may work.
