I have a Windows Vista Home Basic 32bit desk top by Dell, my friend said that I had sent him a email I have Yahoo Mail from my computer to his cell phone, I didn't send him any email I was playing a game at the time, however I have the email that I was supposed to have sent him in my inbox.
My friend has had trouble with spyware before on his cell, he has a Tracfone. I have Spyware Protection and Hacker Protection and Anti-Virus Protection and Malware protection.
What I don't understand how could my friend get and email from me that I didn't send? Was it Spyware or a Hacker? Thank you for your time

Your Yahoo email account was hacked. Change the password.

it could possibly be a bit of both check your history it has happened to me tell yahoo about it and they can find out

Yahoo being one of the easier email accounts to hack with so many tools out there safe to assume your account has been compromised Your best bet would be to try and change the password if possible (provided the hacker has not changed it already they sometimes do ) or create a new yahoo email account and let all your email contacts know of your new email . Use a password generator creator to make a complicated password that cannot be guessed

It doesn't even matter if it's Spyware or a Hacker, but I suspect it's Spyware. Hackers want something (like your identity or money)
I started getting mail on one of my accounts from myself after I joined Facebook. Man, I quit Facebook a couple of years ago so fast you could see my dust!
Change your password, but when you initially do it, backspace (as though you made a mistake) and then type in the correct letters - that will screw with a hacker's head. Whatever you do, if you open it by mistake, DO NOT click on the link inside or bye bye Xena...
