I've spent a fair bit of time searching and am struggling to find a service that:
1. Pulls external content from my website (not a direct link to the database but via a url)
2. Allows me to write a newsletter and send it out to a subscriber segment
3. Non technical and has a basic wysiwyg editor
So far, the closest I've found are:
* GetVero - does 1 and 3
* AWeber - does 2 and 3
* Madmimi - does 2 and 3
Any suggestions?

Definitely go with AWeber. The last time my friend shared me tips on how to use it he said that it can pull external content. It can even publish newsletters on Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites.
