If you are connecting your facebook account for the first time than you will not loose your current progress.

Updating your Phone Will Not Remove your Progress As Long as you Dont Need to Reconnect your Candy Crush Game to your Facebook Account If you Are Already Connected Than You Wont Lose What you Have Currently Even If you Update your Phone
