Does social media matter to people outside the United States? - Anthony - 02-19-2014 05:01 AM

Do they put as much emphasis on NEEDING to be on something like Facebook?

It depends on where, outside the US.

It is a big world out there.

There are some people in the world, probably the majority, who don't use the internet on a regular basis. So for a lot of people, social media has little relevance to their lives.

Hi, Anthony!

Personally, based on my perspective, social media also does matter to people outside the United Sates. Because this is one area where they can share their thoughts with other people from different locations.

But it depends on the social media site that they're going to join, because most of the popular sites nowadays are already too crowded.

A good alternative is joining a social media site which is not overcrowded yet, one example is Unittus.
