I need to deactivate a facebook account that I don't have access too? - Harvey - 02-19-2014 12:22 PM

I'm doing it for my mother, she has a facebook account that has one friend, no picture and no information, just her name, but she wants to remove it from facebook so people can't find her on it.
What I'm wondering is if there's some sort of support number for facebook for email you can send something too, I'm assuming there won't be a number because of the billions of accounts on facebook. I've already tried to go on the account and submit a report to remove the account but not had a reply for two months. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated Smile

It's not possible to deactivate a facebook account that u don't have access to

you can't,
that is to stop trolls going on and deleting other peoples accounts
if there is nothing on the site why worry about it

Your mother will have to be the one to either deactivate or permanently delete her facebook account. If she knows the email address she used to create the account, and her password for the account, and gives them to you, then you could help her out, but facebook won't do anything without her permission.
