LoL.Like that can ever happen. The biggest thing that saves Social Security happened last week. Can you imagine the day when half of the people's retirement accounts go belly up ? No, the number will be there as long as we have any form of government at all. It has actually kept the economy going longer than it should have. The funds returned on the Social Security investment to retired people goes into the economy faster than the stimulus package did by far. And this happens every month. Seniors don't hide their money, they buy food and medicine. They put gas in the car. pay their property taxes, etc. Undo Social Security and you Undo the Nation. We don't make things here any more, just stick our hand in someone's pocket for money instead. Social Security puts money in the pockets.

If Social Security is discontinued, the U.S. Government will no doubt come up with another way to identify everyone. Everyone will still have to file a Federal Tax Return--so there will be some way to identify you.

If Social Security ENDED? and you are worried about the flippin way to be identified?
Now more than ever the SSA system will have to be continued and strengthened.
Speculation caused these banks to collapse and the market to spasm.
If our Social Security System were disbanded and privatized??
You can only "speculate" where our seniors and disabled recipients would wind up!
