Should facebook have age restrictions? - Jeremy - 02-19-2014 12:25 PM

Facebook has many applications across multiple age groups. For people in their 30's, as you say, possibly reconnecting with old classmates from school, or keeping in touch with family members spread across the country. It was originally designed for college students, who would have been in their mid 20's. Facebook does not restrict people's accounts for their age, as a 30 year old father may want to have their 15 year old son on their facebook friends account. Just an example.

I believe, it's perfectly normal for anyone to have a presence in facebook, age shouldn't be important as it is a social networking site and not a dating site or anything of age groups. They need though to be strict with under teens.
