How can I remove this from my Facebook Timeline (picture included)? - BILL - 02-19-2014 12:25 PM

It's the "People You May Know" feature and this started to show up on my timeline ever since they upgraded or changed if you will the look of Facebook a couple of months ago. Now I remember that this "People You May Know" feature used to come up on the news feed page on the right side in a little box, but now it's on my timeline constantly and it's driving me crazy!!! Every time I go to my timeline to add a picture or status this "People You May Know" bar is always there, asking me to add people (strangers) to my friend list.
I tried clicking the little x that shows up when you hover over that person's profile pic but I keep on doing that and more strangers appear. and also there is no "remove from timeline" or "hide from timeline" or even a x on this "People You May Know" bar
Has anyone ever experienced this problem and if so is there a way to remove this from my timeline because I've seen some of my friend's Facebook timelines and they don't have this showing up on their timeline and when I ask them how come, they have no idea or they just don't want to tell me (talk about "friends") a
anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have about 30 friends and I registered my account in 2011

How many friends do you have and when did you register your facebook account?

I don't have that but I think you might be able to go into your timeline settings and have it removed... I use google chrome as my browser for facebook so maybe that has something to do with it.

it's only showing that as you've only got about 30 friends and facebook are only suggesting some people you might know them mutual friends are your friends on facebook already and them people have got them aswell so facebook thinks you might know them when you really don't. you really can't get rid of it but it auto goes after you've got like about 50-100 friends
