I will be buying a new pc soon and am wondering which motherboard to get. I have been looking into hthe z87-g43. Is this a good motherboard or is there a better board at this price range? The pc will be largely for gaming.

For that price point, most of the motherboards will be around the same quality for that type. I prefer ASUS motherboards, but to each their own. Maybe someone else will have a good option for you, but for that price, the motherboard you picked out is okay.

Motherboards at that price point are generally the same. It is only when you step into the higher end will you begin to see differences in cooling, onboard audio, storage and added features like wireless AC and Bluetooth. At that price point, I would be looking at a Gigabyte or MSI board.
