i was on facebook last day and i saw an aplication that can "tell you if someone saw your profile " does it work ????? and can someone ( a friend or not ) know if i checked their profile ????

The ONLY way a person can know you were on their profile is if you leave a comment =)

No one can know that you viewed their profile or photos.
Facebook does not provide a functionality that enables you to track who is viewing your profile, or parts of your profile, such as your photos. Third party applications also cannot provide this functionality.
