I want to create a Group on Facebook for the parents on my daughter's basketball team. When I try to create a Group, it ask me to add friends. These parents are not on my friends list. How can I create this Group and send them a invite, without adding them as friends, when I don't want that.

hover your mouse over the word Group on the left side, the word More will appear next to it, click on it and that will take you to the page where you can create your group.

You will see your groups on the left hand side, click on "Create Group" and make your group! =]
