When I told my Iphone to update my contacts with facebook pictures, an unknown profile links to one of my contacts. Why is this?

May be it is using one of your contact's personal details with the unknown profile on face-book like name or phone number that facebook seems to recognize. While syncing see whether the face-book URL is correct under homepage. Try updating that contact manually and see if it works.Else it shouldn't happen like that.Hope it helps
