I have posted a few status updates so far this month,but on the right hand side where it shows all the years (Facebook activity) it only includes 2013 and then works backwards through the years but 2014 is n't on that list. Why is this? I have noticed it on other friends pages also. Genuine answers only please. Thanks
Some of my friends pages include 2014 in the list of years (Facebook activity) and some do not.

Because all 2014 content is automatically displayed on your current time line already just keep scrolling.
Current timelines are only filtered by year. for example last year you would have had all 2013 on the main screen, but on the left a list of 2012, 2011 etc. It's by design and not a problem.
