So I was chatting with my girlfriend and she told me she had to go to a place for her friend. She goes and sends me a few messages while out. I see on her fb messenger that it's saying she's in a totally different place. I confront her about it and she says she never went there... She has lied to my face before. She usually has her phone gps off. The location only worked for a few mesaages. Her phone gps does mess up sometimes. But this seems a bit odd... The gps can't lie...

I don't know this girl, but she may be lying. If she's done it once, there's no reason shell do it again.

i think you can configure the GPS to show a location you want. maybe she don't lie to you now, but maybe before (if she set the gps on too a specific location before).
take a screenshot and ask her showing her what the GPS said.

sounds like she dont want you checking on her,
and you distrust her,

She may be lying ,probably is .If you want to check to be absolutely sure ,next time when she messages you from her 'friends house' here is what you do .Go on your PC if possible and open up cmd (just type cmd in from start) open up the fb convo and close all other tabs .Go to cmd and type netstat/n and it will give you all the ip addresses including hers .Find hers and use find my ip to track it .

You obviously don't trust your girlfriend, so why are you still with her? You do realize that sometimes, people change their minds about where they are going, don't you? She probably didn't tell you because she didn't want to have an argument with you over something stupid.
To go so far as to track her using GPS is ridiculous. This relationship isn't based on trust. You track her and she lies to you. Find someone you can trust.

Those Phones can be tricky . . . I have a Friend on Facebook that from one Post to the next would move her 4 hours across the State.
I wouldn't sweat it too much . . .
