Who should Mayweather face next? Maidana or Khan? INDEPENDENT POLLS:
ESPN.COM (65,007 votes): MAIDANA 62% - KHAN 38%
ESPNDEPORTES.COM (6,259 votes): MAIDANA 82% - KHAN 18%
RINGTV.COM (3,935 votes): MAIDANA 57% - KHAN 43%
FIGHTNEWS.COM: MAIDANA 78% - KHAN 22%

but.. either of them is a non-threat to floyd 0 lose...

Mayweather is going to fight who he wants. F*ck a poll, it doesn't mean anything and was fixed anyway.

Khan, Maidana....both are going to lose anyway, at least Khan may make it fun for a couple of rounds.

I'd rather Khan fight Mayweather TBH.

- Jack - 02-19-2014 12:52 PM

no one can beat floyd at 147 so it doesnt matter, khan will make a more interesting fight than madana

It was a bullshit publicity stunt to justify picking a weaker opponent than he should. If he was real bad @ss, and a real man willing to test himself against the best he should have included Lara and Andrade in the poll and of course the Pac Man.

Maidana is protesting for several reasons.

Maidana:
1). WBA Welterweight Champion.
2). He's 4-1 in his last 5 fights.
3). He's a top 5 welterweight.

Khan:
1). Not a welterweight champion.
2). He's 3-2 in his last 5 fights.
3). He's not ranked at welterweight.

The casuals is picking Khan because of 2 things ( Speed and a fan base). That is not enough to earn you a shot at Floyd.

Floyd mayweather should fight Maidana because he earned it. This question seperates the Hardcore from the Casuals.

The statistics do not lie.

since when was mayweather true to his words?

remember the pacyournext poll during the ortiz fight? then after the fight, the no-I-never-said-that followed...bwahahaha

all gimmicks, he hypes his fights, thats it...
this khan fight will be needing lots of it, same as the canelo fight...only this time its the brits instead of the mexicans, along w/ half of the americans

youll be hearing and seeing more of his hypes as the fight goes near...he'll use the pac/bradley fight for it, mark my words

Boxing is like politics... Corruption runs rife...

When a hundred million dollars plus is on the table... Morals go out the window!

Let's say the poll was for real, which I highly doubt it was. The casual type of boxing fans would definitely want Maidana. There's no doubt about that, but to vote you had to sign up and Khans fans would be more willing to sign up.

I hate this fight, gonna stream it. I don't think I'll be buying anymore Mayweather PPV because I'm sick of Mayweather not negotiating with real threats. EX Martinez, Pacquiao, Bradley, ect.

I'd rather see Maidonna vs Broner 2. Khan should have at Mayweather.
