About 5 or 6 years ago I got a message from Facebook saying I was temp locked out of my account due to friend requests.

Yes. If they click the button saying that they don't know you outside of Facebook, then your account can be suspended. You are only allowed to be friends with people you actually know.

yes, if people click the "no, i dont know this person outside of facebook" those are considered "reports"

after the first 3 reports, you are suspended from friend requests for 7 days

the next violation is 14 days

the next violation is 30 days

the next violation is they delete your account because they assume you think the rules do not apply to you
