Ask your real life friends to add you and then accept their friend requests. Don't just talk to random people you don't know on facebook.

just look up the persons name up in the search box that you want to be friends with and send them a friend request! or just randomly ask anyone to be friends!

Don't be shy! ask or look up their name and have a conversation about any for instance do you play sport how was school today? how was work? remember once you give that person a question they can't ignore you.
Add anyone you know Don't be shy
