its Called Pages Not A group anyways to make one go here http://www.facebook.com/pages than hit create a page and follow the instructions and you will have a page in no time

That's actually a Facebook Page, which is somewhat different to Facebook Groups.

You'll want to start here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/create.php it's fairly self explanatary. The main problem you'll overcome is getting people to use it. If they don't know it's there or how to find it then there'll be little to no interaction. You may have to engage in some efforts to signpost your friends and some sort of marketing effort.
