Is watching someone's facebook and their friends facebooks cyberstalking? - LucyLou - 02-19-2014 12:39 PM

someone I've been having a lot of legal issues has been stalking my facebook and i know they have been also watching all my friends facebooks to see what ive been commenting on. I know this because theyve been printing the stuff ive been saying trying to get me in trouble with the police but I've said and done nothing wrong. They havent contacted me through the internet and I havent contacted them but I know theyre watching me and all my friends stuff. is this cyberstalking? Can i press charges for cyberstalking and if so how do I go about it? If i report them how do I prove that they are cyberstalking me without any proof of internet contact with the person. Would the police or courts be willing to look into it?
Everytime i post something they know within minutes. how do I prove to the courts that they stalk it that much if they havent contacted me through the internet? Will they do an investigation based off of just my word?

Only if that's all you do all day, or in every spare minute you have.

Yes because theyre invading your privacy and reading about your life n friends.

No, if your profile and your friends' profiles are not private, it is not stalking. Or if this person is your facebook friend, reading up on statuses and comments are NOT stalking. They have a 'right' to view your page because it is an open Internet website.
