So recently i made a fandom twitter. I have been following lots of people and most of them do follow back but then they just unfollow me. I want to know how some fan accounts have 14k and they are following about 10k? I don't like using followtrains etc. I want to follow other fan accounts not personals. Another concern i have is following like 800 people and only have about 200 following me back.. i also have been retweeting gain tweets from other fandoms but i only gain about 5 more followers. If you have reasonable advice it would be very appreciated.

i think you should twit a lot and follow famous people's account. also bands, singers, tv series... things like that. they make you gain a lot of followers.

Keep following people who follow back. Although many of them unfollow, some of them will continue to follow you. Unfollow anyone who unfollows you, share your page on other social networks, and ask people to shoutout your account.

I use this--> http://skylnk.co/FhJkIf its like the only free thing out there to get you followers w/o having to follow back. it works on a point system for multiple websites so you can go like peoples pages on Facebook or whatever and get points and then use those points to get twitter followers or Vice-Versa (instagram too!). that way your twitter isnt all cluttered with spam and your following count doesnt go up
