There's a girl I know that I would like to know better. We both go to the same athletics club for years but literally almost never get a chance to talk because of the kind of training we do. I would message her on facebook but it would be kind of embarrassing because I am very introverted and almost never use facebook. I only have about 12 friends added. I'm not even friends with all of them. I only have 2 posts on my page. My first one remarking how I will probably never use facebook and the second is an old happy birthday wish from just one person. I didn't even bother uploading a photo to my profile.
It's a bit late for me to get into facebook now in my final year of school. I think she already has the idea that I'm like a loner or something because I am a very quiet person even though I am very talkative and lively once you get to know me and around friends. So would you be very put off by a guy like me who APPEARS to be like some kind of loner with no friends or would you not care?

Erase the post that says you will never use facebook lol dedicate two weeks adding a bunch of people from your school they usually will accept you and post once in a while that way your wall isn't empty...and then add her
...but I still think she would add you without all that effort...I would.

I think you should just explain to her that you wanna get to know her and that you're new to Facebook because you barely have any time for social networking.

I think you should just add her, what's the worst that could happen? If it was me, I wouldn't care. Just add her and give it a try
If she questions you about it just tell her you barely use facebook. Or even try to just talk to her more at your club. Good luck xoxo

No, I'm introverted as well but honestly if a guy with only 12 fb friends and no profile picture messaged me I would be kind of creeped out/unsure. Here's what you can do, figure out how to make your friend's list private so only you can see it. Then she won't know how many friends you have. Also, you could try uploading simple picture so at least she has a face to identify.
