How can I really get a scholarship to USA ( I'm from middle east )? - modar secret - 10-14-2012 02:48 PM

I live in Syria in the Middle east , graduated student , and have a degree in English translation

I'm really looking for a good & trusted grant/scholarship to continue study in the U.S.A , in fields like social and cultural studies , journalism , media studies , languages , entertainment , liberal arts ... etc

Can you tell me what to do ? ... I really need this ! ...

I don't think you can get a scholarship. I have a friend that came from Japan to study here in America, but she had to pay out of her own pocket to come to school. She was not applicable for financial aid, grants or scholarships. Its how it is most days. Unless your an athlete of course or sponsored in any way by an American.
Or hey marry an american!

You can look on any US university's web sites to see what scholarships they offer and their requirements. Make sure they are open to international students.

Be aware that most scholarships only cover a fraction of your total costs.

Sure it's possible. A college in the USA offers 100% scholarship to all admitted international students.
