If Facebook doesn’t have any ads than how does it make any money?
I just saw ‘the social network’, I’m probably one of the few people who isn’t on Facebook so I wouldn’t know from experience but in the movie it said that Facebook didn’t have ads and that they would not do them. Than how the hell do they make money because I know the service is free?

They do have ads for which they charge a nice per click amount. Look to the right on your Home Page and you'll see them.

They most certainly do have ads. Every time you look at your profile (assuming you're using IE and not Firefox) you see a whole list of ads down the side of the page. They also get a kickback from all the games and apps and "related sites" that you click on or play or use while you're logged in.
