With new facebook privacy settings, how do you hide pages during search?
Facebook just changed their privacy settings, and now for my public search, all the pages i'm a fan of and my friends list is displayed. How do I fix this!?

You can still edit in the privacy setting. Read the instruction and edit in detail whatever you want.

With new privacy settings, you can't hide your friends list or pages during a public search. Its pathetic...Unless they change it. The only way around it for now is to ignore their privacy message for you to update the settings. But once you have then I have no idea.
PS: Mai: Don't post misleading info |

uggh same here its pissing me off
the only way is to hide your friends completely..as in, from EVERYONE, including your friends if you want to do that, then you can go to your profile and theres a little pencil on your friends list, you click that and hit hide friends |

I'm not sure about that, but to answer some of the other questions about the friend list..if you go to your profile where your box of friends is..in the upper right habd corner there is a pencil looking shape there...just click on that and you'll be able to hid your friend list from the public who search you as well as your friends. You can set it to where certain friends can view your friends list or totally block everyone out from seeing..Hope this helps..
