How do you stop comments appearing on friends facebook?

I was wondering if there's a way of stopping comments i make on other people profile/photos or groups appearing on everyones home page on facebook? For example when i write on the wall of a group that i joined but none of my other friends belong to

yes theres a way....after u write ur comment go to ur own page (profile) u will find this update posted on ur wall "(user name) made a comment on...." u will just have to remove this update from ur wall in this way no one will know u made a comment
